At Little Goldies, all children are treated as individuals whose needs are respected and challenged so that they grow up to be independent, inquisitive children. We embrace the diversity of our families, ensuring the children grow to be tolerant and respectful to all, and we encourage a strong sense of British values. This encourages the children to work together to make decisions, promote individual liberty and mutual respect and tolerance for those of different faiths. The children develop a love of Judaism through daily davening as well as special events including havdallah parties, Shabbat parties and learning about the Chaggim throughout the year through art, song and drama.
The children also develop an interest in exploring and learning about the environment, using the EYFS framework as a basis. We seek to embrace every element of their learning so that every child can develop an awe and wonder at the world.

Based in Golders Green Synagogue, Little Goldies opened its doors in September 2017 and has been very popular with local families. Now in its third year, the nursery accepts children aged 2-4 and provides a nutritious, dairy lunch for every child staying for an extended day. We accept 15 hours funded places for three-year-olds and two-year-old funding.
Little Goldies offers a secure, caring and stimulating environment with a warm Jewish atmosphere. We provide an excellent educational start for children to learn through the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), as well as learning the basics of Judaism and providing them with essential skills for moving on to primary school. The nursery is registered with Barnet Council and Ofsted and is managed by our experienced nursery manager, Alison Mazin.

Due to the worsening rates of COVID-19 infection and hospitalisation in London, we have taken the difficult decision to suspend Shabbat and weekday Shacharit services with immediate effect, continuing to hold a daily Minchah and Maariv service as long as there is demand and it remains safe and permitted to do so. This will be held outdoors or, if it is raining, under the cover by the main ntrance.
This decision will be regularly reviewed and we will communicate any further changes.
In the meantime, we will continue to offer a full online programme and updates will be posted online and on the GGS email list.

Rabbi Sam Fromson grew up in Hampstead Garden Suburb and attended North West London Jewish Day School and City of London School for Boys. He spent two years learning in Yeshiva in the Old City of Jerusalem before reading Natural Sciences at Queens’ College, Cambridge. During his time at university he kept up his sporting interests playing water-polo and squash, whilst also training with the triathlon club and trying (mostly unsuccessfully) to keep pace with the cross country team.
As a student Rabbi Fromson was involved in a number of Jewish education programmes including Birthright UK, Pathways, FJL and JLE. Whilst taking a group of JFS 6th formers to Poland he met Hadassah. They married during their final year of studies and lived together in Cambridge, before moving to Jerusalem to pursue further Jewish learning.
Rabbi Fromson studied for semicha in the Yeshiva University Israel Kollel and received ordination from Rabbi Zalman Nechemia Goldberg in 2013. He has since substantially completed the YU semicha programme and runs yulife, a new insurance and technology company that rewards health.
Rebbetzin Hadassah Fromson was born in Israel and raised in Gibraltar. She left Gibraltar as a teenager when her family moved to London and completed her A-Levels at Hasmonean. Hadassah spent a year learning in Michlala College for Women in Jerusalem and then returned to London to read psychology at UCL.
Whilst studying for her degree, Hadassah also worked for the Genesis Leadership and Learning program.
As head madricha, she led trips for university students and young professionals to Poland, Israel, USA and
Ukraine and helped organise shabbatonim and campus programmes across the UK.
After marrying Sam and moving to Israel Hadassah studied in Matan, the foremost women’s beit midrash
in Israel, and she is a graduate of their Ayanot programme. Hadassah is certified to teach brides in
preparation for marriage, has completed a masters in Counselling Psychology and is half way through a
doctorate (DPsych) in the same field.
They have three children: Arielle, Nadavya and Oraya.
