Welfare

Golders Green Synagogue runs a thriving volunteer network that works throughout the year to support our members

Volunteers offer support to our older and more vulnerable members in a variety of ways, including phone calls, home visits, hospital visits, meal deliveries and errands.

Our volunteer network is coordinated centrally by Samantha Vaughan, who arranges training and ongoing support for volunteers.  Many of our volunteers find the experience to be very rewarding and their services are greatly appreciated by the recipients. In addition, we offer a meal rota service for members and a financial gemach fund.

We are also proud to be associated with Mitzvah Day and run social action activities across the community each year.
