This year, we all need to rethink the way we observe Purim to ensure that we remain safe while celebrating.
Rabbi Belovski has issued special guidance for observing Purim this year – you can read it here.
The full timetable for Purim can be downloaded here.
If you plan to attend any of the four Megillah readings at Shul, you will need to book your place here. Please remember to bring your own siddur, megillah and face covering and to follow social distancing and hand hygiene procedures at all times.
As outlined in the guidance, we regret that we cannot accommodate children under the age of 11 this year, but all Megillah readings will be available on Zoom.
To avoid handling cash and cheques, donations for distribution to the needy on Purim must be made online by clicking here. If you would like to donate via a charity account, please do so via your provider’s website. You will find GGS under Golders Green Synagogue or United Synagogue Golders Green. Our charity number is 242552. Please mark your donation ‘Purim 2021’. PLEASE COULD WE ASK THAT, WHEN YOU DONATE, YOU EMAIL firstname.lastname@example.org WITH THE AMOUNT YOU GAVE SO WE CAN ENSURE THE MONEY IS DISTRIBUTED ON PURIM DAY.
If you have any queries about Purim, please contact Rabbi Belovski or the Shul office at email@example.com
